Dr. Kochenower was born and raised in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He was honored as Valedictorian of his graduating class in 2010. He completed a dual 3-year surgical residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He continued his training at the Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, completing his residency in 2013.

He joined Memorial Medical Group upon completion of his residency. He is board certified in foot surgery, rearfoot reconstruction and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Kochenower has extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, from sports injuries to trauma and reconstructive surgery. He strives to provide compassionate care to his patients in Southwest Oklahoma. He served as president of the Oklahoma Podiatric Medical Association from 2018-2021. He is currently serving as Medical Director of Lawton Medi-Equipment and is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Kochenower resides in Lawton, OK with his wife and their three children, where they are active members of the community. He enjoys participating in his children’s activities and serving in his local church.
